As a passionate UX/UI Designer and UX Researcher, my goal is to solve human-centered problems by creating innovative experiences that are simple to use and accessible to everyone. My skills include UX/UI Design, UX Research, UX Writing, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Wireframing, Prototyping, and Mockups. I use Figma, FigJam, Freeform, Trello, VS Code, and Github to create exceptional designs and collaborate with my clients.

June 2024-Present

Sacred Heart of Jesus PNCC

November 2023- May 2024

Web Designer & Web Master
 

  • I am designing a new elegant website for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Polish National Catholic Church. The website will create a centralized resource of information about the church for parishioners, site visitors, and potential members.
     

  • My other responsibility is serving as the web master, ensuring the website's stability and continuous operation at all times.
     

  • I also assist with updating and writing website content.

edX

UX/UI Instructional Specialist
 

  • I was on the instructional team that ran a 6-month-long virtual UX/UI boot camp class over Zoom to help 20 students learn the fundamental principles of UX/UI Design, UX Research, and Front-End Development. 
     

  • I engaged with students during class and office hours, helped them hone their skills, answered questions, and provided skills and software demonstrations.
     

  • My other responsibilities included taking attendance, grading assignments, providing students with constructive feedback, and ensuring the class operated cohesively and on time. 

March 2023- May 2024

Substitute UX/UI Teaching Assistant 
 

  • I was a substitute UX/UI teaching assistant and supported full-time instructors in virtual UX/UI classes over Zoom, as needed, in UX/UI Design, and Front-End Development. 
     

  • Students learn principles of design, the importance and ethics of accessibility, user research, and HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
     

  • Students also learn some of the industry-leading software, Figma, FigJam, Miro, Trello, VS Code,  and Github. Students use these tools to create personas, prototype and wireframe mobile applications and websites, and code their portfolios.

  • I led a team of colleagues who designed a website for a Minnesota-based fashion startup company looking to grow locally and expand nationally. 
     

  • I led remote usability testing using Skype and wrote all accompanying documents including, testing scripts and testing results using Google Docs and Google Sheets.
     

  • My other contributions included designing and wireframing prototypes, site mapping using Figma, and building the website UI using Wix.

  • I led a team of colleagues that conducted user research on the company's existing website and evaluated the current level of usability and accessibility and provided suggestions from user feedback. 
     

  • I led remote usability testing using Skype.
